How it all started...
In 2012, I left my job on Wall Street, took a significant pay cut and pursued an entry level sales job. I did this solely based on the idea that I wanted to be paid more money based on how hard I worked. I learned a lot during this transition and since then, I've gone on to receive multiple sales awards, hold national leadership positions and have helped countless people get a job in sales.
Sales has been such a rewarding career for me both personally and professionally. While most people know that the commissions are lucrative and traveling the world is exciting, I've found that the quality of life of a sales rep to be the best part. The ability to work from anywhere and dictate your own pay is the definition of freedom. I believe sales is one of the best careers that is often overlooked.
I found myself wishing that I had gotten into sales earlier in life. I just never knew where or how to get started. I decided to start coaching other people who were pursuing a job in sales so that they could reap the benefits sooner rather than later.
After I found myself telling my Uber driver how to get a sales job, it dawned on me. I needed to write down my process so I could scale and help more people. My process comes to you in the form of this book.
